Compare the Lu Guang, Qiao Ling, and Cheng Xiao Shi Highway Star keychains by style, price, and everyday use so you pick the right Link Click character for your keys or bag.
Quick answer
Pick Lu Guang if you want the classic Highway Star look at the lowest full-size price, Qiao Ling if her character design fits your everyday carry, and Cheng Xiao Shi if you prefer a chibi style and the lowest spend. All three are compact keychains from the same Link Click Highway Star collection.
Why the character choice changes more than the artwork
The three keychains share a compact format and the Highway Star theme, but they differ in style and price. Lu Guang and Qiao Ling use the standard Highway Star design, while Cheng Xiao Shi is drawn in a chibi style. That difference affects how each keychain reads on a bag or keyring: standard designs tend to look more like a miniature illustration, while chibi designs are deliberately playful and compact.
Because the catalog does not list dimensions, materials, or weight for any of these keychains, you cannot compare them on durability or exact size. Treat the choice as a style-and-budget decision, and check the product pages for any additional details before you buy.
Price versus character: what the catalog numbers tell you
At catalog prices, Cheng Xiao Shi is the least expensive at USD 6.10, followed by Lu Guang at USD 9.66 and Qiao Ling at USD 9.94. Each listing shows a higher comparison price, which suggests a discount, but the catalog does not explain the basis for that comparison. Use the current price as your budget anchor rather than assuming a specific savings amount.
If you are buying more than one, the price gap between Cheng Xiao Shi and the other two is large enough to matter. That makes the chibi keychain a practical add-on if you want a second character without doubling your spend.
When character loyalty should outweigh the price gap
A keychain is a small, visible accessory you carry every day, so the character you actually want matters more than a few dollars. If Qiao Ling is your favorite, the roughly 28-cent difference between her keychain and Lu Guang's is unlikely to justify choosing the wrong character. The same logic applies if you are building a matched set: buying the characters you like keeps the collection coherent.
The exception is a gift for someone whose favorite character you do not know. In that case, the lower-priced Cheng Xiao Shi chibi keychain is a lower-risk choice, while Lu Guang is the safest pick if the recipient follows the series' main duo.
Decision rules for choosing your Highway Star keychain
- If you want the standard Highway Star look: Choose Lu Guang for the lower standard-style price or Qiao Ling if she is your preferred character. Both use the Highway Star design rather than chibi art. Decide between these two on character preference, not on the small price difference.
- If you want a playful, budget-friendly option: Choose Cheng Xiao Shi. The chibi style is distinct from the other two, and the catalog price is the lowest of the three. This is also the easiest choice when buying for a fan whose favorite character you do not know.
- If you are buying more than one: Pair Cheng Xiao Shi with either Lu Guang or Qiao Ling to get two characters without paying for two standard-style keychains. Check the product pages for combined shipping details before ordering. Confirm the total at checkout, since the catalog does not state shipping costs.
- If you need exact size or material details: The catalog does not supply dimensions, material, or weight for any of these keychains. Review the individual product pages or contact the store before buying if those details affect your decision.
