Learn how to choose between Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi Cloud series shikishi boards, what to check before buying, and how to display them well.
Quick answer
For a Mo Dao Zu Shi Cloud series shikishi, choose the character design you connect with most—Wei WuXian or Lan WangJi—and confirm the board's size and display spot before you buy.
Why the character design matters more than you think
The Cloud series shikishi is available in two designs, each featuring a different character. Since the artwork is the main draw, your choice should reflect which character you want to see daily. If you're buying for someone else, think about their favorite character rather than picking randomly.
The shikishi board format is square and sturdy, designed for display or framing. That means the visual impact depends heavily on where you place it. A board with a busy background may look better on a plain wall, while a simpler design can fit a shelf without overwhelming the space.
What to check before you add to cart
Because the product page only lists the two design options and the price, you won't find exact dimensions or material details. If size matters for your display frame or shelf, plan to measure your intended spot and be ready to adjust.
The price is listed at USD 11.25, down from a comparison price of USD 15.00. That's a reasonable entry point for a licensed-style art board, but it's still worth confirming shipping costs and return policy before checkout.
Decision rules for choosing your shikishi
- Choose Wei WuXian if: you prefer his color palette and want a design that feels bold and energetic on your wall or shelf.
- Choose Lan WangJi if: you favor cooler tones and a calmer, more refined look that blends easily with neutral decor.
- If you're unsure: pick the character you associate with your favorite scene or moment from the series, since that emotional connection will make the display more meaningful. Before ordering, measure your display area and confirm the board size if you plan to frame it.
